This place is getting my money and now they tell me I can't wear my vest to the gym you guys just lost a customer for life, also they don't know how to keep a bathroom clean for nothing, every single day it smells like feet in the heat it's no wonder you have only one gym in existence stay away from this expensive dump

I've been to a decent amount of gyms and if you are going to a gym to actually work out and not for the amenities look no further. Tons of free weights and every machine you could need. Big enough to not feel too crowded. I was surprised by how laid back the majority of the people who go there are, even the juice heads
Don't believe in those people that give one star to the gym. All equipment all in good conditions always, they take good care of the equipments. If you want a real gym not to a stinky one like planet fitness or a all done body gym one. Go to star fitness it's a good gym and the price it's not bad.
STAR FITNESS is without doubt, the best gym in the Bronx, if not New York City. All the equipment is 100% operable. I've been a member for over 10 years, and have always gotten a great workout there. The owners make sure that members follow the rules. That is what owners are supposed to do. They are there to make money, not make friends. People mistake business with friendship. I don't mind the strict rules at all. The rules guarantee a clean, safe environment. All the cardio machines are in working order. The studio upstairs is great for stretching, boxing, or meditation. I have had memberships to all the gyms in the Bronx area for variety, and none compare to STAR. There are many members that are in great shape there, and as a 53 year old man, it's pure motivation to see so many men and women looking absolutely phenomenal. I really can't say enough good things about Star Fitness. If you walk in, act respectful, do your workout, and mind your business, you will be treated respectfully in return, and will never have a problem with anyone. Same as in school, at work, in jail, at church, or in life. Respect goes a long way. I hope Star Fitness stays around for many years to come. I love it, and you will too.
